After a career start in Stockholm and Paris, Raoul Chevignard relocated to Luxembourg almost 15 years ago.
He became the local point of contact for East Capital, a EUR 5 billion+ AUM Scandinavian Asset Manager and was responsible for marketing the house funds, both UCITS and offshore & Private Equity products. In 2007, the company launched a Luxembourg SICAV and Raoul was directly implicated with the numerous aspects of constitution, coordination of service providers, distribution architecture setup and cross border registration.
He was then able to appreciate the importance and added value of local presence and coordination when implementing efficient and competitive solutions.
In 2009, he decided to dedicate his work life to philanthropy and joined Fondation de Luxembourg at its very creation. This institution was created by the Luxembourg government and the Œuvre de Secours Grande Duchesse Charlotte in order to promote and facilitate philanthropic engagement of HNWIs in Luxembourg.
He was in charge of setting up operations, internal processes, communication plan and legal framework, as well as of promoting the organization and philanthropy towards private banks and wealth management actors in Luxembourg. Finally he was the point of contact of donors engaging with the Foundation.
Cicerone was created in 2012. In parallel, he takes on several independant director mandates, acts as a Risk Manager for serveral alternative funds and develops the AIFM department for the Asset Manager Pure Capital. He focuses mainly on operations and Risk Management.
